Can I drop in?

  • Can I drop in for the day?

Yes, with one small caveat: you must email dan@raimondistrength first to ensure we have time and space available. Our primary offerings are private and small group training, so if we have a full class schedule we will not be able to accommodate you. However, if we have space and time, you are certainly welcome to come train! The drop in fee is $50 and will include coaching from Dan.

How are you different?

  • How are you different than other trainers?

Raimondi Strength offers small group strength training in Fargo, utilizing primarily barbell based exercises to get the best return on our investment. We keep our classes small (4 people or less) in order to customize the training program to each client. Many people associate barbells with athletes or weightlifters, but our mission is to show that everyone can get stronger using just a handful of barbell exercises. When you come to the gym, you won’t be alone. We’ll be here to take you step by step through the process, showing you not only how to lift weights, but also how to plan out your training to get the most effective/efficient results. We want our clients to be able to go out on their own and understand what they need to do and why they need to do it.

Our Facility

  • What equipment is available at Raimondi Strength & Conditioning?

Raimondi Strength primarily utilizes barbells to get people stronger. This allows us to scale the exercise to your ability and individual needs. It also allows us to perform many different exercises with one tool and train the body as a whole instead of muscle by muscle. When you come in it won’t look like a fancy health spa or big box gym. You’ll see barbells, platforms, squat racks, and plenty of weight to go around. When appropriate, we use other tools like sleds, bikes, suspension trainers, etc..but our primary focus is getting stronger using the basic barbell lifts.

Introduction to Strength Training: our 8-week cycle that meets twice per week. Each session lasts 45-60 minutes and takes you step by step through the process of strength training. Designed for those who have no experience at all with weight training, but also very useful even for more experienced lifters who have a lot to learn about the process! The class is $250 per month.

Intermediate Training: for those who have completed the introductory option but still want guidance on technique and programming. This small group class meets once per week, with the other 2-3 days of training performed on the clients’ own at their gym. Your program is emailed to you at the start of each week and tailored to your individual goals, wants, and needs. Coaching for this option is $150/month.

1 Day Clinics: these are for those looking to come in and get an overview of the main barbell lifts. We’ll spend about 2.5 hours covering the squat, press, deadlift, and bench press. We may spend some time on the power clean if it’s applicable to you and your situation. We’ll talk about the fundamentals of programming and the basics of nutrition. This is done 1 on 1 or you and a friend. The 1-day clinic is $180; if you’d like to bring a friend it is an additional $100.

Online Coaching: Step 1: Initial consult via Skype or in person to review goals, previous training history, injuries, concerns, etc. Step 2: After the initial consult, your custom program is delivered weekly and feedback is given after each workout for technique, and other general comments and concerns. Additionally, once per month, you’re able to come and train in person in Fargo at no cost! If you can’t train in person, we’ll talk on Skype each month to see how progress is going. Online coaching is $150/ month.
